Tim Jones, here. My niece, Allison, about whom I posted recently, has just headed into surgery to receive a heart transplant.
Your prayers are coveted by her family.
This news will not be reflected on her web page for some time, probably, but here it is for those who might like to find out a little more about her.
Humble thanks to all in advance.

God is with her no doubt, Tim!
She's been in my Morning Prayers and I'm sure God is (and has been) attending to her!

Tim,
Allison, her family and all whom are attending to her needs and caring for her during the operation and her stay in hospital are in my prayers. As are the soul of the one who has passed on and made this transplant possible and their family, who mourn the loss of a loved one at this time.
Prayer for a sick child~
St. Gerard, who, like the Saviour,
loved children so tenderly
and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death,
listen to us who are pleading for Allison, a sick child.
We thank God for the great gift of dear Allison
and ask Him to restore this child to health
if such be His holy will.
This favour, we beg of you
through your love for all children and mothers.
Amen.

My prayers are certainly with Allison and also with the one who has died and given her the chance for life. May he/she rest in peace, may God's face shine upon him/her and give him/her peace. May the Lord bless Allison and her family and grant her complete healing. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

She is in my prayers...what a hard thing for a child to have to go through. Oh the bravery. May the first thing she hears upon wakeing be laughter and joy! (Perhaps the International Friendship Song?!)

I saw in the A Pound of Flesh post that Allison recieved the heart transplant. This must be a risky time period but be sure to let us know how it goes.
I've been praying for her on and off since I first read about it and I'll continue to pray for her recovery, and for the whole family.

Tim,
when you have the opportunity, could you please give us a little update on Allison? Not wanting to pressure you or anything.
Still praying.

Ukok -
Allison's transplant operation went very well. She has been dealing with some postop complications that were not wholly unexpected, but still tricky. As my brother said, there is no such thing as a "routine" heart transplant.
I will post an update tomorrow with more.
Bottom line... she is doing fine, considering.
